An object-based work: an engraved glass sphere featuring a photograph of the façade of BNP Paribas in Brussels against the background of an iconic astronaut figure. Components of the work: a vitrine table with photographs of administrative architecture; a magnifying glass; a laser-engraved glass sphere; an overpainted photograph.

Core concerns: banking architecture and the fragility of financial systems; the image of stability and its material instability; the glass sphere as metaphor; the bubble as metaphor.

The work juxtaposed banking architecture with the fragility of financial systems through both visual and material means.
